This was my lantern that I made. It took my a couple tries to make it because it was very hard to make because the pieces would be to floppy for me to put together. I chose to put a heart symbol in it because I like hearts and I didn't know what else to put on there. I wish I could have put more time into the project to make it look better but im not disappointed on how it turned out.
This was my pinch pot animal I made. I chose the pig because they are my favorite animal. I glazed it red because pigs are pink and it was the closet thing I could get to pink. Im really proud of the nose and ears because I feel like thats what really tells you its a pig. I wish I would have spent more time on the pinch pot it self and made it look smoother but I was in a rush to get it done. But I still like how it turned out.
This was my bowl project that I did.I started off with a bigger bowl and then when I went to flip it, it broke so that was disappointing. I chose to the could cause I really liked doing them the first time and I thought the coils were tricky so I wanted to kinda of push myself to see if I could turn it into something cool and I think I achieved turning it into something cool.
The face project was by far my favorite part of the hand building. It was just so fun. There were so many steps to it which was annoying but the end look is amazing. I am proud of myself for this one because it actually turned out well. I had turned my into a fish so on the blue side there are gills but its hard to see and on the black side its just a regular person. So I was kinda going for a half and half look.
This is my animal sculpture that I made. I chose a turtle because I like turtles. I made the shell have a texture to it like a turtle. I chose to glaze it green because turtles are green. I would say making the arms and legs were the hardest part because they didn't want to connect to the shell so that was a struggle for me. I really liked how it turned out though.
